In this final episode of Appaloosa Summer, Meg coaches Lacey and Salem at their first show. Will all their hard work pay off? And what does the future hold as the summer comes to an end?

After a heart-to-heart with her mother, Meg celebrates her seventeenth birthday in the best possible way - with Jared.

Meg supports Jared through a trauma; helping him face fears he's been carrying since his dad's death.

Meg helps Jared buy his mom's birthday present. Jared helps Meg by building her a sand ring. As they get closer, and closer, can a kiss be far off?

Still hoping to keep her horse, Meg starts training Salem. Meg meets Jared's horse-crazy cousin, Lacey, who also wants Meg to work with her, and Meg learns more about Jared, and his family.

Meg has to convince her mom to let her keep Salem, and figure out how to keep Salem from running away again. Jared might be able to help with both problems.

Jared finds Meg a horse; an appaloosa mare named Salem. Then Meg and Jared lose her. Then they find her again ... and right in the middle of the chaos Meg's mom arrives on the scene.

Meg learns more about Jared - the tractor-driving cowboy - and the more she gets to know, the better she likes him.

On the island Meg settles into her job at the B&B - making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and cooking breakfasts - and meets a farmer who piques her interest in tractors ... and the guys who drive them.

When family friends offer Meg a job that will bring her to her family's island cottage for the summer, Meg has to decide whether to go, and overcome her mother's objections about the idea.

Meg must deal with a devastating loss in the show ring, that makes her question not only her summer plans, but the future of her riding.
